Zoia Skoropadenko is a Ukrainian contemporary artist who got her Starlink satellite dish and became one of the first ever artists to post her work via satellites run by SpaceX of Elon Musk.

Skoropadenko is a world renown artist with an international career widespreading from Tokyo to Palo Alto. She is known for her controversial contemporary art series TORSO, more traditional minimalistic series of Intellectual landscapes and linocut series of Coffee Drinkers.

Skoropadenko always was a fun of science and novelties and as soon as Elon Musk announced the launch of Starlink satellite internet service, she signed up to install it in one of her European art studio.

“I saw couple of times starlink satelites train passing by, it was such an amazing show!” recall the artist “ I was really looking forward to this new era of humanity as global earth internet. And one day the delivery man dropped the Starlink box at the door of my studio and the dream became a reality.  From the person who’s first dial up internet was so slow that i could knit the pair of socks while opening a yahoo main page, to a global  personal satellite internet from space it took just quarter of century and I am fully enjoy this changes”.

The artist after the satellite dish installation  immediately posted one of her recent work from the Monaco Palace  series which probably might be first art piece in the world that was posted via SpaceX satelites.
